The Eastside Wrestling team came out of a match-up between #1 ranked teams last night with a victory.  The Eagles, ranked first in the AAAA, defeated West Oak, ranked first in AAA, 40-24.  Freshman Peyton Schrader, fresh off a Southern Slam Championship last weekend, started out the night at 138 and delivered a fall in the second period.  The Eagles won the next 4 matches by Colt Schrader by maj. decision, George Maholtz by decision, Jack Wyland by pin, and Lane Schrader by pin to build a 25-0 lead.  West Oak got on the board with a fall at 182, which was immediately matched by a fall by Eastside's Baron Leonard at 195.  West Oak won the next four matches at 220, Hwt, 106, and 113 to bring the score to 31-24.  I the highly anticipated 120 lb. match #1 AAAA ranked Ty Tice won by decision over #1 ranked AAA Teague Strobel 5-4.  The Eagles finished the last 2 matches of the night with decisions by Hank Lee and Barnett Langston.
